I’m left handed and drive my mouse left handed.
Why doesn’t my cursor pointer switch from pointing to the left to pointing to the right when I swap mouse buttons?
UPDATE: I found and started using Swap Mouse Buttons (http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/mtpsoft/swapmousebuttons/SwapMouseButtons.html)
works great – and even changes the cursor direction to tell you which way you should be clicking.

I am left handed too. However using a mouse with my right hand my entire adult life has in essense created new neuro pathways in my brain and has improved other aspects of my life. I am a drummer and my right side of my body was definately not as gifted as my left. Now I can equally do things with both hands and both feet which has improved my drumming exponentially. My fine motor skills I believe are just as good with my right now as with my left. Thanks.
